Copyright Policy
TubeThumbnail’s approach to third-party YouTube imagery, responsible reuse, and good-faith copyright reports.
Public does not mean copyright-free
TubeThumbnail does not claim ownership of thumbnails, profile pictures, channel banners, video titles, or other third-party material associated with YouTube. Those works remain subject to the rights of their creators, owners, or licensors.
Users are responsible for determining whether they have permission or another lawful basis before copying, modifying, publishing, or commercially using an image.
How images are accessed
TubeThumbnail provides tools that reference public image locations associated with YouTube videos or supported public channel information. The service is not a stock-image library and does not grant licences to downloaded material.
Reporting a copyright concern
If you believe TubeThumbnail itself infringes your rights or presents content in a way that requires review, email contact@tubethumbnail.com and include:
- Your name and reliable contact information.
- Identification of the copyrighted work.
- The exact TubeThumbnail URL involved.
- An explanation of the rights you hold and the action requested.
- A statement that the information supplied is accurate and submitted in good faith.
Do not submit fraudulent, misleading, or abusive reports. TubeThumbnail may request additional information needed to understand a notice.
Requests concerning the source platform
TubeThumbnail generally does not control material hosted by YouTube or its image-delivery services. If the concern is about a video, channel, or image hosted by YouTube, use YouTube’s own reporting and copyright procedures in addition to any message sent here.
Independent service
